Water management facilities
Drinking water is our No. 1 food requirement which cannot be replaced. It is the foundation of life and we use it for drinking, cooking, washing and cleaning. The daily per capita requirement in Germany is between 120 and 140 litres. Communal and private water works and water management facilities ensure that sufficient quantities of our drinking water are available reliably and always of the required quality. The low temperature of water in pipes, containers, etc. cools down rooms. When warm and humid air enters from the outside, condensation starts building up on water-carrying pipelines and control panels – with results which can be reduced or even prevented using targeted dehumidification.
Pipework and control panel erosion of water management facilities is more than an optical problem. Especially shut-off slide valves and check valves must be accessible at all times. During repairs or emergencies, corroded components lead to delays, additional efforts and higher costs. Controlled dehumidification in operating rooms effectively prevents such damaging corrosion of sensitive facilities.
Sensitive remote data transfer and electronics components require special protection. AERIAL® dehumidifiers help to avoid false alarms and prevent sensitive technology from failing.
Consistently high humidity causes considerable damage to the substance of structures, e.g. through mould. Extensive renovations or updates are required. Constantly low humidity makes an important contribution to preserving the investment in the buildings and inventory while also saving costs.
In Germany alone, more than 800 water plants and water management facilities place their trust in AERIAL® air dehumidifiers. We offer expert advice on site and the right unit for every room size.
