The system can be used as a pressure or vacuum pump to convey air and non-explosive gases and gas-air mixtures. The built-in compressor is air-cooled, i.e. 100% oil-free.

The aluminium fan wheel rotates inside a die-cast casing with side duct. Air is sucked in and then accelerated along a spiral path by the rotor and side duct, bringing it to high pressure. It is then pushed out through the pressure channel.
